Its Software programmable (PGO-001 USB cable required) so all settings could be comfortable changed for your individual parameters. All the individual settings could be stored in an individual file and maybe after a necessary Reset used as a backup for quick restore or for cloning the next radio. With built-in FM Radio (87-108 MHz WFM only) for broadcast reception .If an incoming call is present the FM-Radio will be disabled, so that You dont miss any Radio call. The Wouxun KG-816 includes a lot of possible settings, although You do not expect it due to the ham-friendly price. All settings could be changed by hand of course, the Software is not a must, but suggestable, because You get it for free if You buy the radio and the PGO-001 USB programming cable.
